Returns/Refund Policy
If a customer places an order, then cancels it before it is shipped there will be a $20.00 deduction from refund to cover the Merchant Processing Fee that the seller has already been charged and to cover the Refund Fee the seller will be charged.
We have only had a very few cats not take to using the cabinet. But, if you or your cat is not completely satisfied with your Out of Sight Litter Box® you may return it after receipt for a refund of the purchase price less a 20% return fee. Returns are donated to local no-kill shelters. Return request contact must be made before 30 days from delivery date, you will get a Return Authorization Number (RA#) during that contact. You will then be emailed a Stacking/Repackaging Page showing you how to get all the panels back into the original shipping box correctly. Use lots of 2 inch wide packaging tape to hold the box top and bottom together, like the plastic strapping that originally held the box closed.
All product items must be returned in their “original” condition. By “original” we understand that the cardboard shipping box will be opened, the hardware pack will be opened, and that pilot holes will have been used during assembly, “original” means no modification or damage to panels. If your cat(s) “misses” inside the cabinet we strongly suggest that you clean up that “miss” as soon as possible – within hours (not days) – we have tested the panel saturation limits and they withstand hours, (not days) of misses. Plenty of time for proper clean up. We require the original engineered shipping box and packaging to be used to protect the panels from damage during return shipping. We will email a stacking/packaging order page so you can get all the panels and filler foam to fit correctly back in to the box. Also, please return the instructions.
PLEASE, make sure the cabinet panels are clean. we repeat, clean! Returned products that are soiled will result in an additional $50 cleaning charge deducted from your refund. Cost of return shipping, including insurance is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using FedEx, they have lower rates and handle packages with more care. Your return shipping cost may be at least $85 on the East Coast to $120 or more on the West Coast. FYI: FedEx and USP “Store Fronts” add a handing fee to the shipping cost. It is better to find a direct drop off station.
Product returned without shipping prepaid and or without a Return Authorization Number (RA#) will be charged a 20% return fee and the total shipping costs for both ways, to the customer and return costs deducted from refund.
High-SiderTM Litter Boxes are not returnable and so non-refundable.
Canceled Orders/Refused At Delivery
When making your decision to order, please understand, why we have to post the following policies, we are a small company and profit margins are low so we can not “absorb” the costs of an order that has already been shipped, and can not resell a product that has been shipped and returned.
If you place an order, and decide you want to cancel that order, cancelation needs to be done ASAP after placing that order. We ship out orders very quickly after the order has been placed. Most customers don’t like to wait. If a customer places an order, then cancels it before it is shipped there will be a $20.00 deduction from refund to cover the Merchant Processing Fee that the seller has already been charged and to cover the Refund Fee the seller will be charged. If you have to cancel an order that has already been shipped, the shipping costs, and a 20% return fee will be deducted from your refund.
Placed orders that are refused at delivery will be charged a 20% return fee and the shipping costs will also be deducted from your refund.

The above Refund Policy might seam like it has a lot of stipulations, but, some limits must be set. And we want to be up front with this information. We have put forth great effort to produce a high-quality product that works and to insure it arrives safely. If your cat just won’t use it, OK, we can understand that, and as stated above, we’ll work something out.

*We use the word “STOP(S)” to describe the difference (before to after) that the Out of Sight Litter Box® will have on your litter tracking issues. A legal definition might better be “will substantially reduce litter tracking by 98%”. You may find a few pieces of rogue litter here or there, but you will notice such a substantial difference that you too might use the word “Stopped” while telling your friends how the Out of Sight Litter Box® changed your litter tracking issues.
Warranty
The Out of Sight Litter Box® cabinet systems are warranted to the original purchaser at the time of purchase and for one year after the purchase date. Out of Sight Litter Box, Inc. warrants to you, the original purchaser, that the cabinet and all cabinet parts and components are free of defects in material or workmanship and reflect or exceed acceptable industry standards. The word “defects” as used in this warranty is defined as any imperfections which impair the use of the cabinet system. This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement or repair of cabinet panels, parts and components. This warranty applies under conditions of normal use. This warranty does not cover defects caused by improper assembly or dis-assembly, defects occurring after purchase due to intentional damage, product modifications, exposure to the elements, accidents, misuse, urine, abuse or negligence, labor or assembly costs. All implied warranties, including the warranty of merchantability shall not extend beyond the duration of the written warranty stated above.
Liability
Out of Sight Litter Box, Inc.’s liability is expressly limited to the cost of material for repair or replacement of defective goods and in no event will Out of Sight Litter Box, Inc. be liable for incidental or consequential damages or injury resulting from the use of the product, or any injury during assembly. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty may last or the exclusions or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, which vary from State to State.
Arbitration
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, or the breach thereof, shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
Dispute Resolution
You agree that the laws of the State of South Carolina, U.S.A., excluding its conflict of laws rules, shall exclusively govern any dispute relating to this Agreement and/or the Services. We both agree that all of these claims can only be litigated in the federal or state courts of York County, South Carolina, USA, and we each agree to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Editing, Deleting & Modification
We reserve the right in our sole discretion to edit or delete any documents, information or other content appearing on the Site. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to make slight modifications to our product in the best interest to our customers and company. Product specifications subject to change without notice.
Trademarks & Patents
The content, organization, graphics, design, compilation, magnetic translation, digital conversion and other matters related to the Site are protected under applicable copyrights, trademarks and other proprietary (including but not limited to intellectual property) rights. The copying, redistribution, use or publication by you of any such matters or any part of the Site, except as allowed by Section 4, is strictly prohibited. You do not acquire ownership rights to any content, document or other materials viewed through the Site. The posting of information or materials on the Site does not constitute a waiver of any right in such information and materials.
